Photos of your stuff become your packing list

Snap a photo of your stuff

Point your camera at anything: a shirt, your laptop, the adapter you always hunt for. SnapPack saves it as an item you can pack for every trip after.

Build your trip packing list

Drop your items into a trip and sort them into carry-on and checked bags so you know what goes where. In a hurry? You can add things by name too.

Tick off each item as you pack

Each item gets stamped as it physically goes in the bag. Whatever's left unstamped is still on your bed, and now you know before you leave the house.

And if something still slips through, log it once. Next trip, SnapPack puts it at the top of your list before you zip the bag.

Plan your outfits ahead

Lay out each day's outfit from your own wardrobe before you leave, so you pack what you'll actually wear and nothing you won't.

Travel packing checklist FAQ

Everything people ask before making SnapPack their packing list app.

Is SnapPack free?

Yes. SnapPack is free to download and use on the App Store. SnapPack Pro is an optional in-app upgrade if you want more, but you don't need it to build and pack your lists.

How do I stop forgetting things when I pack?

Stop packing from memory. In SnapPack every item on your packing list is a photo of the real thing, and you tick it off as it goes in the bag. If it's not ticked, it's not packed. And if you do forget something, log it after the trip and SnapPack reminds you before the next one.

Can I sort my packing list into carry-on and checked luggage?

Yes. SnapPack lets you sort items into bags, like carry-on and checked luggage, so you know exactly what goes where before you're standing at the check-in desk.

What should go on a weekend trip packing list?

A couple of outfits, toiletries, chargers, meds and your travel documents. Build the list once in SnapPack from photos of your own things and reuse it for every weekend trip after that.

What's the best way to pack for a business trip?

Keep one proven work kit and re-check it every trip. In SnapPack your laptop, chargers, adapter and blazer live as saved items you re-pack in about a minute. Run the list again at hotel checkout so the charger comes home too.

How do I pack for a family trip with kids?

Give everyone their own packing list. Photograph each person's things in SnapPack and pack them separately, so you can see whose bag is done. You can also share item photos so family members know exactly what to pack for you.

Can I reuse my packing list for every trip?

Yes, that's the point. Your items are saved for good, so a new trip starts from your last one. It also means you stop rebuying chargers, adapters and toiletries you already own but left at home.

Does SnapPack sync between devices?

Yes. iCloud sync keeps your trips, items and packing lists up to date across your iPhone and iPad.

Can SnapPack write my packing list for me?

Yes. Tell SnapPack about the trip and it drafts a list from your saved items. You review and approve every line before anything is added, so the list is still yours.
